  • PVP = Process Verified Program is a documented quality control management system for marketing livestock under specific claims set forth by the program provider (age and source verification, feeding practices or any other claim specified by the provider).

  • Age & Source = Age and Source Verification is a component of the PVP Program that verifies the date of birth and birth location (physical address), commonly referred to as a birth certificate.

  • EID Tags = Electronic Identification Tags consist of a copper coil, capacitor and microchip that are molded in a plastic compound (ear tags) or glass (microchip) and can be applied to the animals ear or injected subcutaneously.
