How can FaST EID make core sample management easier?
FaST EID is an asset management program, designed to help ID, manage, and track your assets. Instead of hand written notes that have to be deciphered and copied into a computer, you can easily enter data into as many as 22 customizable fields for each core sample. Core Samples can be associated with an Electronic ID (EID) number to make finding the information for a specific core sample in your data base easy and convenient. FaST EID is compatibe with GPS so the samples location can be reliably tracked. FaST EID saves files in an excel style spread sheet file that is compatible with most backend database programs.
