Who is Fort Supply Technologies?
In 2005 we started as three brothers with an idea to provide value to the then mandatory National Animal Identification System in the USA. We are now a versatile group of +15 full time and contract employees.
What does Fort Supply do?
Fort Supply Technologies provides a range of software and hardware solutions which track livestock and range animals, using RFID, hand held data loggers and productivity analysis tools.
How do you design your products?
It’s important for us to spent lot of time testing and updating our products based on input from inspectors, health officials, producers, feed lot managers, sale barn managers, cowboys and cowgirls. (We don’t ascribe to the term “cowpersons”). We know that our market is different from any other in the world and we’re proving that FaST products are exceeding expectations.
What is your experience?
The three founding brothers are all degreed engineers and collectivity has had more than 60 total years of successful careers with microelectronics and international product (hardware and software) development. In addition, all three were raised on and now co-manage an active cow/calf ranch in southwestern Wyoming and farm in northern Utah.
Who are your Customers?
Our customers include private livestock managers and state and provincial brand inspection and health officials in the USA, Canada and European Union. Additional countries in South America and Asia will also soon have our products.
What are our products?
Our brand name FaST™ for Fort Supply Technologies, has a growing number of products:
FaST EID is a point-of-use data capture system which interfaces with any EID reader, including the option for an integrated reader, which makes reading any passive RFID tag easier and more reliable. This product runs on the truly field rugged hand held PC Archer from Juniper. Our software will also work from any Windows XP notebook or desk top PC.
FaST BRAND-PREMISE is also based on the hand held PC ARCHER or a Windows XP computer and contains the respective state or provincial brand data base, allowing the inspector to look up a brand and/or create a complete brand inspection without paper. End of month reporting is simplified by selecting the inspections desired which are then summarized and sent to the main office for final compilation.
FaST BRAND-LITE assists inspectors at sales barns allowing quick brand look up and receiving of animals with a wireless transmit of the receiving inspection to the officials in the office.
ARCHER, a field proven ultra rugged hand held PC made by Juniper Systems in the USA, this system can withstand any punishment you can. The benefits justify the cost as this unit running Window Mobile operating system with built in Bluetooth and expansion ports (SD and CF) will protect your data, allow easily seeing your data and easily transfer data to your office PC. The Archer also has serial and Host and Slave USB ports.
New products: Stay tuned for other products in development by Fort Supply or contact us about your requirements. We thrive on a good rewarding challenge.
